open contests or lottery


should a certain amount of contest each year be decided by a lottery as to who competes rather than an ''open'' where anyone can sign up.so lower ranked eaters can achieve titles or should there be more title rallys?

what ever happened to the days that you merly sign up the the day of the contest without any qualifier?

That may work, even the WWE has lower cards etc, they shouldnt just be 1 on 1's. To keep the 10-20 going they should have group events for lower ranked eaters.
